You’ve heard of four-leaf clovers – now here’s a four-legged Klover! She’s just as lucky because she was sprung from doggy jail by DFW Cocker Spaniel Rescue, and taken to the doctor for her first bath and haircut in a looooong time (three pounds of matted fur – gone!). She also had cherry eye surgery so the world can see her beautiful eyes.

Klover is a happy and energetic girl who wants nothing more than to be the center of her people’s world. She’s learned quickly that people are wonderful and give great hugs and tickles. She loves snuggles and bellyrubs, and her fur is very soft and snuggle-able! She also loves stretching out and ‘dancing’ on the furniture or the doggy bed or the people bed – something she couldn’t do in doggy jail – what a luxury!

Klover also loves her toys – her favorites are tennis balls and plush toys that make animal sounds. She’s a bit possessive about her toys and her people’s laps, so she’ll do best as an only dog or in a household where she can be the Alpha girl. Klover is crate trained and sleeps in the people bed with her foster sisters. Housetraining is a new concept for her but she’s catching on fast, especially since she gets hugs and pets whenever she goes outdoors. She’s good on a leash, and loves walking. She’s also a good bird chaser – great exercise and great fun!

If you’re looking for a soft bundle of love and energy, Klover is your girl.
