This little (20lb) red buff boy is Cayenne. These photos of him were taken at the vet’s office as he is getting over a case of pneumonia. He is not happy about being in that kennel and would much prefer to be out and about with all the goings on around him, but soon enough he will be well and able to go to a foster home. As you can see from the photos he seriously needs some grooming…his ears will have to be shaved for sure…but the grooming will also have to wait until he is over the pneumonia, so check back soon for better pictures of this sweetheart! If you would like to chance to foster or adopt this guy let us hear from you right away….his furever home will come along quickly, we have no doubt!

A note from CSR:

We always try to be very up front about the status of our available dogs.  Cayenne has recently had 2 seizures.  We are having him checked out by our vet and hope to find a cause for them.  Please don’t discount meeting this wonderfully loving and playful boy as it could very well be food/allergy related.  We will update his bio as we have more information.  

SEIZURE UPDATE:  Cayenne has been seizure free since his second seizure. This problem might have been related to a medication he was taking.  Please consider this little red head as your companion.
